What to Expect on a Sunday
At The Grove Church we encourage people to find true treasure in Jesus.
One key way we do that is by worshiping together, and YOU are invited to join us:

Here's a little info to help you navigate your first visit:
Parking
The Grove has a parking lot adjacent to the building that is especially for you. If you happen to find there are no spaces, parking is also available in the lots just across the street. For those with mobility issues, we have some accessible parking reserved on the corner of 71st Street and Locust Street at Curt's Automotive.
What to Wear
Feel free to come as you are - whether that's in shorts and a t-shirt or slacks and a polo. You'll be welcomed!
Kids Ministry
For those with kids in 5th grade and under, we have a great experience waiting for your child! Come on in through the lower entrance (near the parking lot), or via the main entrance and down the stairs to check in your child for our Kids Ministry. You'll be greeted by a volunteer who will walk you through our registration process.
Our kids' experience begins with a time of energetic worship together before breaking off into age-specific classrooms (K-2nd, 3rd-5th). Your child will then participate in an engaging lesson, enjoy a snack time, and be led through a game or craft of some sort. Of course we have nursery, toddlers, and preschool rooms as well.
All of our Kids Ministry volunteers have gone through training and a background check.
Hospitality
We want you to know how glad we are to host you at The Grove! When you enter, you'll be offered a name tag (because remembering names can be hard!) and a program that includes announcements and a notes sheet for the day's sermon.
Feel free to grab a cup of coffee at our hospitality bar. If you happen to visit on the first Sunday of a new sermon series, we'll have donuts, too!
Worship Service
Our worship service is a time for The Grove to join together and bring glory to God through song, prayer and Biblical teaching. We welcome anyone interested in what it means to live life God's way, even if you're not yet sure what you believe.
We worship the Living God, so while the format is generally consistent, we never want to do things in a purely ritualistic way! That said, our service typically begins with music led by our worship band and includes a time of welcome, announcements, and a call to worship.
Sermons at The Grove are intended to be encouraging, thought-provoking, and helpful for the week ahead. Feel free to bring your own Bible or use the ones provided for you (or, we recommend YouVersion for following along on your mobile device). We prefer and use the CSB translation, but you are welcome to follow along in the version you are most comfortable with.
Following the time of teaching, we'll respond to God in song before ending our time together.
As you leave, feel free to grab another cup of coffee, say hello to someone nearby, or greet our staff on the way out. We'd love to meet you!
