Find courage for living and true treasure worth seeking.
Below are just some of the ways you can get involved in what’s going on.
Who knew church could be so fun?! The Grove's exciting Kids Ministry strives to engage kids - from babies to 5th grade - in times of worship, learning, and memorable activities. Our cadre of caring volunteers are ready to invest in your child's journey to Jesus.
• Sunday Mornings: Kids Ministry is available for both the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services. At 9:00, kids will enjoy curriculum from The Gospel Project, followed by a time of games and music. Our 10:30 service starts with music before breaking into age-specific classrooms for lesson times and a craft or game.
• Special Events: We love loving on the kids at The Grove! Throughout the year we plan special events just for them, including Maker Camp (a week-long creative camp in June), Pancakes and PJs in the fall, and Pancakes and Puzzles in the spring.
• Fun Spaces: It's not just about what we do, but where we do it! The Kids Ministry area at The Grove includes exciting and colorful classrooms, and both indoor and outdoor play areas. Whether through gaga ball or foosball, we have spaces for your kids to burn off energy and have a whole lot of fun.
A note about safety: We take your child's safety as seriously as you do. That's why we have a secure check-in/check-out procedure. In addition, all of our adult volunteers have participated in a Kids Ministry training and have successfully completed a background check. We have multiple volunteers serving in each classroom.

The teenage years are so much easier with a solid group of friends ready to hang with you for good times and pray or talk with you during tough times. The Grove's Student Ministry offers opportunities for students in grades 6th-12th to create friendships, grow in their faith, and find a place of belonging.
• Student Ministry: Our students meet from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday afternoons throughout the school year. This is a great time for building friendships, diving into a lesson, and participating in a little friendly competition (oh, and snacks... there's always snacks).
• MeetUps: Our Student Ministry coordinates MeetUps about every month. These might be movie nights, game nights, or dinner.
• Conferences and Retreats: The last several years, students and their parents have traveled to Dallas to attend Stand to Reason's Reality Conference. This has been a great time of learning and fellowship.
• Mission Trips: We believe that you're never too young to learn the ways of service. While much of our service is local and within the church, we do also occasionally plan mission trips for our students. Our next mission trip for students is planned for the summer of 2024.

Looking for a church that has a group of twenty and thirty-somethings you can get to know? Look no further! Not only does The Grove have a great group of young adults, they really like to get to know new people.
Our young adults love hanging out together. They regularly have lunch after Sunday service, plan game nights, and create other chances to just be together.

Men at The Grove work to sharpen one another - whether through prayer and study or through friendly competition. Our men's prayer group meets at the church most Fridays at 6:30 a.m. for an hour of encouragement and prayer. In addition, occasional MeetUps are planned throughout the year. These have included ax throwing, service projects, BBQs, fishing, and more.
Looking for a chance to get to know other women? The Grove's Women's Ministry fosters friendship through bible study groups, MeetUps, and informal gatherings. Events have included crafting and cooking classes, dinners out, women's conferences, and more. In addition, our Church Center app offers a women's affinity group where you can share prayer requests or suggest get togethers.
Grove Groups are an important part of building community. We believe that gathering in homes throughout the community, engaging in conversation, participating in bible study, and praying for one another is essential to authenticity in relationships.
Our groups meet in the evenings throughout the week in the fall and spring. During the summer, our Grove Groups take a break; however, we offer summer groups so we can still see each other and spend time together, but at a more leisurely pace.

At The Grove, we genuinely like spending time together! We believe this is how friendships develop and relationships deepen. Regularly throughout the year, MeetUps are scheduled to provide a time of fellowship and fun.
MeetUps can include movie nights, game nights, pickleball, athletic events, fishing, scavenger hunts, and so much more. Check our calendar to discover upcoming MeetUps and/or subscribe to our weekly e-mail to join in the fun!
OUTREACH
Jesus cared for the sick and helped those in need. Above all, he loved sinners—including us! We show the love we’ve experienced through outreach and missions efforts, both locally and abroad.
• #lovegladstone: Gladstone is our community, and we are privileged to serve it. Throughout the year we engage with and serve local organizations - whether it is completing home repairs for a neighbor, conducting food or diaper drives, or passing out water at community events.
• Mission Trips: We answer the call to the nations by occasionally sending teams on national and international missions trips. Our teams have served in places like Kansas and Texas, as well as abroad in Honduras and Southeast Asia. In addition, The Grove financially supports missionaries and workers around the globe.
• CarePortal: The Grove supports CarePortal, a local effort to mobilize tangible resources to meet real needs.
DISCIPLESHIP
Growing in wisdom, obedience, and faith is at the center of life in The Grove. Our discipleship opportunities lead people into baptism and church membership. We also offer workshops throughout the year that focus on specific areas of your life, such as creating a quiet time routine, strengthening your marriage, a biblical approach to finances, and much more.
