We're Moving In!

We are renovating the space at 7027 N Locust Street in Gladstone and you're invited!

Some background

The Grove Church started in 2016 with two primary hopes - honor Jesus and help the people of Gladstone. We started out meeting in the Gladstone Community Center, moved to Oakhill Day School in 2018.

2020 was a year unlike any of us have ever known and, as we all experienced, it required a new level of innovation and flexibility to continue to encourage one an another serve our community. As we looked for ways to begin to meet in person again we were given the opportunity to extend our roots deeper into this community that we love by securing a long term lease of the former Independent Order of Odd Fellows building in the heart of Gladstone.

Now 5 years old as a church, we are currently renovating a space that is beyond what we expected to be able to enjoy at this point in our history. But God has a way of doing more than we expect in ways we don't expect.

We can't wait to open our doors and begin a new chapter in this story that God is writing in and through our church.

Join the work - Come help us!

Our general work schedule is:

  • Mon, Tues, Thu, Fri: 4-7pm
  • Wednesday: 4-9pm

A few notes about safety:

  • We will have KN95 masks available and encourage you to use them as you work since social distancing will be hard to maintain.
  • There will be a variety of opportunities available. Parents, please use your judgment on whether your child(ren) can pitch in but we'd love to have them helping out!
  • Be sure to wear closed toed shoes.

Let us know when you can help!

Please continue to pray for these things:

God to lead us and provide for us for his glory

Unless the LORD builds a house, its builders labor over it in vain…

Psalm 127:1 (CSB)

Wisdom for leaders in decision making

A wise warrior is better than a strong one, and a man of knowledge than one of strength; for you should wage war with sound guidance— victory comes with many counselors.

Proverbs 24:5–6 (CSB)

Harmony and unity as a church

Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus, so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice.

Romans 15:5–6 (CSB)

Our decisions and actions to display God’s Kingdom

Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
